PKN ORLEN receives the Queen of Sports Wreath in the Sponsor Category
The distinction was announced during the third edition of the Queen of Sport Wreath Gala organized by the Polish Athletics Union.

Wreathes were presented to: the best trainer, best athlete, and the biggest surprise of the previous season, with subcategories for regional and nationwide awards. Awards were also received by the personality of the year and sponsor of the year, which was PKN ORLEN.
“We are very pleased that the company’s contribution to the development of Polish athletics is appreciated and has been recognised with such a prestigious award. Sponsoring athletics is the second pillar of PKN ORLEN marketing operations, alongside motor sports, and it is a particularly important tool for us to communicate with the market,” said Wojciech Kotlarek, member of PKN ORLEN’s Board.
On Monday evening the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz belong to athletes. The stars of athletics were invited — in addition to the champions of Berlin, among whom appeared athletes from the ORLEN Sports Group (Anita Włodarczyk, Tomasz Majewski and Piotr Małachowski), medalists from the first world champion ships in history in Helsinki were among the guests.
The ceremonial presentation of awards was presented in the style of an Oscar Awards evening. The invited guests arrived in limousines, from which they were led to the reception on a blue carpet.
The gala was presided over by Paulina and Macij Kurzajewski. After the ceremonial handing out of the awards, a concert by Mieczysław Szcześniak took place.
