Maciej Mataczyński

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Doctor of Laws, legal advisor, legal counsel, commercial and European law specialist. Graduate from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University; recipient of a scholarship of the Fulbright Commission at the Harvard Law School and T.M.C. Asser Institute in the Hague.

Works as a lecturer at the Chair of European Law at the Law and Administration Faculty of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Since 2008, partner at the Sowisło and Topolewski audit office in Poznań. Mr Mataczyński is also an author of numerous law publications published in Poland and abroad.

From January to November 2006, as an independent member, Mr Mataczyński held the position of the Secretary and subsequently of the Chairman of the PKN ORLEN S.A. Supervisory Board. He once again chaired the PKN ORLEN Supervisory Board between February 2008 and June 2010. Since June 2008, Member of the Supervisory Board of TC Dębica SA, where he holds the function of the Secretary of the Supervisory Board and member of the audit committee.

On 25 June 2010, Mr Mataczyński was re-appointed as the Chairman of PKN ORLEN Supervisory Board for another term.
