Pyrolisis oil
Zawartość strony
Characteristics
Multicomponent mixture of hydrocarbons (chiefly unsaturated HCs) of the number of carbon atoms above C14. It contains 5% (by weight) or more 4- to 6-cyclic aromatic HCs of condensed rings. The post-pyrolysis oil is obtained as a heavy residue of the hydrocarbon pyrolysis process. It boils at temperatures above 260 °C.
Applications
It is used as a component of heavy fuel oil. In the past, it was used in the process of hard coal flotation.
