The on-line version of PKN ORLEN’s annual report was awarded the main prize by the Polish Institute of Accountancy and Taxes. On top of this, the Company was awarded for the model appliance of accounting standards across the capital group.

The jury valued the on-line service for its organization, the possibility of downloading data and the accessibility of information in an interesting and user-friendly manner. The report was also acknowledged for the Company’s report on the appliance of corporate governance principles. In the jury’s opinion over the last few years PKN ORLEN has set an example in the market in the on-line communication area.

The award was handed over to Sławomir Jędrzejczyk, CFO of PKN ORLEN at the Warsaw Stock Exchange last Friday, 21 October 2010. Rafał Warpechowski, the Executive Director of Planning and Reporting received the the individual award for appliance of accounting standards across the capital group.
