PKN ORLEN’s IR has been recognised as the best amongst Poland’s listed companies in the WarsawScan 2005 survey conducted by NBS Public Relations.

The ORLEN facility in Plock received a title "The Best Refinery 2005 in CEE" during The Central & Eastern European Refining and Petrochemicals 8th Annual Roundtable, organised by the British World Refining Association between 18 - 21 October 2005 in Warsaw. The decision was based on considerations including corporate strategy, infrastructure, technology innovation and plans for the future.

PKN ORLEN has been ranked No 1 in the Big Capitals Chemicals in Poland by the Chemical Review, Poland’s biggest and most prestigious chemical monthly.

ORLEN Asfalt, PKN ORLEN’s subsidiary specialising in bitumen production, has been awarded a certificate testifying to the fact that the Company complies with the international ISO 9001:2000 standard.

PKN ORLEN has won the coveted title of Best Investment in 2004 on the WIG 20, Warsaw Stock Exchange’s blue-chip index. Pawel Szymanski, CFO of PKN ORLEN, was presented with the prestigious “Bull and Bear” statue inaugurated by Parkiet, the Polish financial daily newspaper.

PKN ORLEN has been awarded the title of Super Brand in the Automobile Category. The Super Brand prize, is recognized as a Marketing Oscar and means that ORLEN’s success is recognised by the Independent Brand Committee, composed of top marketing people.

ORBION – modified bitumen produced by ORLEN Asfalt, a PKN ORLEN subsidiary, has been named as a EUROPRODUKT in a contest organized by the Polish Trade Society.

Basell Orlen Polyolefins was awarded the title "Environmentally Friendly Company" by the National Ecological Contest "Environmentally Friendly". The sixth edition of the contest was organized by the Centre to Support Non-governmental Initiatives under the patronage of Aleksander Kawsniewski, the President of the Republic of Poland.
