PKN ORLEN was named the best comany in terms of IT solutions across Polish energy sector in the TELEINFO 100 report published on 27th November in Sofitel Victoria in Warsaw.PKN ORLEN received “Patron Culture” award Arts & Business Event Year category, awarded second Polish edition contest. In Europe the ARTS&BUSINESS AWARDS are presented in recognition model examples of cooperation between business and culture.
PKN ORLEN was nominated for “Best of European Business” in the Merger & Acquisition (M & A) category of Poland. The ranking is part of an international survey conducted under patronage of CNN.
The Best Annual Report 2005 title for PKN ORLEN- PKN ORLEN's annual report was awarded the 1st prize in The Best Annual Report 2005 contest organised by The Polish Institute of Accounting in co-operation with Parkiet daily. The award was granted on 20.10.2006 on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
PKN ORLEN strategy among the most convincing and coherent – according to the European EuroMoney survey. According to the latest survey carried out by the EuroMoney Magazine, PKN ORLEN was named as a company with the most convincing and coherent strategy from the Central and East European “Oil and gas” sector. The Concern was higher placed than Hungarian MOL, Austrian OMV, Russian Gazprom and Sibnieft. PKN ORLEN was placed second among the 60 nominated companies from all sectors of the Central and Eastern Europe.
The Company was also placed third among the companies whose strategy cohesion improved the most. PKN ORLEN was also third in the category of the companies with most transparent accounts. ORLEN’s website was named fourth most useful and informative in Central and Eastern Europe The respondents also gave high notes to PKN ORLEN’s Management. In the category of „most accessible senior management” the Firm appeared for the first time and was already placed 8th - ex equo with two Polish banks - BPH i Pekao.
The Fleet Management Institute Central-Eastern Europe (FM CEE) and the Flota Magazine have jointly awarded PKN ORLEN’s fleet cards with the title of Fleet Product 2006 at the national Fleet Awards contest on 27.04.2006 at the Warsaw Marriot Hotel.
PKN ORLEN has been ranked 55th in the Oil & Gas category of the prestigious FORBES 2000, which classifies the world’s 2000 biggest companies. The latest ranking included three Polish companies, of which PKN ORLEN stands the highest (721), followed by PKO BP (800) and KGHM (1,579). In comparison to the list published in 2004, PKN ORLEN surged by 352 positions, from 1,073 to 721.
PKN ORLEN has been ranked No 2 in “Perly Polskiej Gieldy” (Pearls of the Polish Stock Exchange) survey prepared by Parkiet (the Polish daily). PKN ORLEN was ranked high in the “feedstock & energy” category.
PKN ORLEN has been awarded the special title “The Best IR Services” at the prestigious “Bull and Bear” ranking by Parkiet, the Polish stock exchange’s official daily newspaper
PKN ORLEN has been ranked No 1 in “The Giants of Central and Eastern Europe” survey prepared by Puls Biznesu (the Polish daily) and Dun & Bradstreet. In addition to taking the lead in the general standings, PKN ORLEN also won in the “Companies in Poland” and the “Chemistry, Oil and Gas” categories.
