PKN ORLEN awarded Super Brand Title
PKN ORLEN, one of the biggest and the best known producers and suppliers of fuel in Poland, has been awarded the title of Super Brand in the Automobile Category. The Super Brand prize, is recognized as a Marketing Oscar and means that ORLEN’s success is recognised by the Independent Brand Committee, composed of top marketing people.
Top brands from 30 countries participated in this year’s contest, with 1200 brands from Poland contesting for Poland’s Super Brand Title. Each brand was evaluated by an Independent Brand Committee and could score from between 1 to 20 points. PKN ORLEN achieved the highest result in the Automobile Category.

Now, ORLEN joins other famous brands which have existed for decades on international and local markets – says Wojciech Heydel; Vice-President Head of Retail Operations.
Recognition of the ORLEN brand is still growing. In the research study “Autoscan 2004” spontaneous recognition of the ORLEN brand reached 86 percent and assisted recognition reached 98 percent.
The process of building the ORLEN brand is presented in a specially printed brochure “Superbrands in Poland – 80 brands you have to know”, together with other top brands awarded this year.
