PKN ORLEN requests entire disclosure of the contracts with Agrofert
PKN ORLEN asked Agrofert again today for consent with an entire disclosure of all the contracts signed by Agrofert and the previous management of PKN ORLEN in 2003 and 2004. As it is already publicly known, PKN ORLEN requested for Agrofert´s permission already several times in the past however has never obtained a reply allowing an entire disclosure.
So far Agrofert agreed only to reveal selected parts of contractual documentation and these has also presented at the press conference on Tuesday. PKN ORLEN is ready to make these contracts public in full text and original versions immediately after the receipt of consent from Agrofert.
- We consider that the partial disclosures Agrofert made on Tuesday may lead to inaccurate and misleading interpretation. We believe that only an entire disclosure of all the original documents may lead to full transparency of this deal - said Mr Cezary Smorszczewski, Chief Investment Officer of PKN ORLEN.
