Re. Polkomtel
Today, PKN ORLEN has received a sentence from the Arbitration Court in Vienna that clears Vodafone’s plaint against the Agreement signed in 2006 between Polish shareholders of Polkomtel and TDC. Following the sentence, the Agreement is binding and valid. At the same time the verdict gives Vodafone the right to receive the notice informing of changes in TDC ownership. For Vodafone, this opens a path to purchase the relevant number of shares of Polkomtel.
At the moment PKN ORLEN waits to receive the complete justification of the sentence. Its full analysis will allow the Company to decide on further proceedings.
