Reg. Management Board of PKN ORLEN
The Supervisory Board of PKN ORLEN has appointed new members of the Management Board for the 2011–2014 term of office. For the first time in the Company’s history, the Board’s president has been reappointed. The position will again be held by Jacek Krawiec, who has been the Company’s CEO since 2008. Other Management Board members to remain in office are Sławomir Jędrzejczyk, Vice-President of the Management Board, and Krystian Pater and Marek Serafin, Members of the Management Board. A new member to serve on the Board is Grażyna Piotrowska-Oliwa.
- The Supervisory Board’s decision confirms that our efforts have earned its recognition and trust and that the path we have chosen for the Company’s development is right,” said Jacek Krawiec, President of PKN ORLEN’s Management Board. “The Supervisory Board has shown appreciation to the fact that the first five-year phase of PKN ORLEN’s strategy has been completed and that the Company is well positioned to expand into new areas. Our previous term of office coincided with a particularly turbulent time of the global financial crisis. Nevertheless, despite the adverse macroeconomic environment we were able to significantly strengthen the Company’s financial standing, an accomplishment which has earned the recognition of investors and was welcomed by the market. I am certain that the management continuity will contribute to the Company’s stronger market position as Poland’s largest corporation - added Mr. Krawiec.
Composition of the Management Board of the new term of office:
- Jacek Krawiec – President of the Management Board,
- Sławomir Jędrzejczyk – Vice-President of the Management Board in charge of Finance,
- Marek Serafin – Member of the Management Board in charge of Petrochemical Operations,
- Krystian Pater – Member of the Management Board in charge of Refinery Operations,
- Grażyna Piotrowska-Oliwa – Member of the Management Board in charge of Sales.
