The Energa Foundation
The Energa Foundation was established in 2009, and in 2011 it obtained the status of a non-profit organisation. The Foundation pursues the objectives set out in its Bylaws. Its main objectives are to support the company’s employees, their family members and close ones, help disadvantaged children and the organisations and institutions which support them, help the victims of natural disasters, and co-finance the purchase of equipment saving human life and health.

In addition, it supports public healthcare facilities and rescue services, as well as the initiatives aimed at providing treatment and care to sick children and young people. 2020 was a special year for the Foundation, as a significant portion of its funds was transferred to support the fight against COVID-19.
In 2020, the Energa Foundation helped 76 legal persons and 299 individuals, including 55 employees. The amount of support provided to employees, totalling more than PLN 542 thousand, was used to finance various forms of rehabilitation, treatment (including therapies, surgeries, purchase of medicines and diagnostics), and purchase of wheelchairs and specialist equipment necessary, among others, for rehabilitation purposes. In addition, PLN 1.3m was allocated to combat COVID-19.
