ORLEN accelerates its expansion ORLEN Aviation enters a new market

ORLEN Aviation is entering the international market. The company has obtained a licence to refuel aircraft at the Czech Republic’s largest airport – Václav Havel Airport Prague. This marks the company’s first operational contract outside Poland. Until now, the ORLEN Group’s presence at Prague airport had been limited to supplying aviation fuel to airlines. Aircraft refuelling operations by ORLEN Aviation are scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026.

ORLEN strengthens hydrogen capabilities in Pomerania with expert advisory support for Amber Hydrogen Valley

The Amber Hydrogen Valley project, launched by ORLEN in collaboration with more than 30 domestic and international partners, has been selected to receive expert advisory support through Project Development Assistance Plus (PDA plus) services coordinated by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. The support, covering technical, commercial and regulatory expertise, will help optimise project development costs and guide the project through steps needed to reach final investment decision (FID).

New LNG carriers join ORLEN’s fleet

Each of ORLEN’s newly commissioned LNG tankers can deliver enough gas to power up to two million Polish households. A naming ceremony for the two new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, purpose-built for the ORLEN Group, was held at the Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries shipyard in Mokpo, South Korea. The vessels were christened Józef Piłsudski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski by their godmothers, Anita Włodarczyk and Natalia Partyka.

ORLEN has for the first time advanced to the final of the Platts Global Energy Awards, one of the most prestigious competitions in the global energy sector. In this year’s edition, the company has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Energy – LNG’ category. The nomination highlights ORLEN’s growing role in the global liquefied natural gas market and recognises its consistent strategy of ensuring secure LNG supplies and expanding gas infrastructure.
