Xylene

Characteristic
Xylenes are produced at the Xylene Distillation unit; they are a mixture of chiefly xylene and ethylbenzene isomers.
The product is obtained as a result of distillation of a refinery-originated fraction.  

Applications
The product, a mixture of xylenes, is frequently used as a solvent in the paints / lacquers industry and as a semiproduct for fuel petrol production.
