PKN ORLEN increases crude oil supplies to its Czech refinery

PKN ORLEN signed an annex with Tatneft Europe AG to the agreement for crude oil supplies to Czech refinery in Litvinov that provides the extension of contractual period and increases the possible maximum volume of the crude oil delivered.

ORLEN has new oil supply source

The Almi Explorer tanker has arrived at the port in Gdańsk, carrying a cargo of nearly 100,000 tonnes of WTI crude oil to be processed at the PKN ORLEN refinery in Płock. It is the first oil cargo imported to Poland from the United States after it lifted the oil export ban imposed many years ago.

Iranian oil for PKN ORLEN

PKN ORLEN has purchased 1 million barrels of Iranian Light oil. It will be delivered to Naftoport in Gdańsk in January, to be then transported to the PKN ORLEN refinery in Płock.

Saudi crude will continue to be supplied to PKN ORLEN refineries

PKN ORLEN will continue to work with Saudi Aramco as a supplier of crude oil to its refineries in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. The contract has been extended for another year, until December 31st 2017.

Metathesis project approved for execution

The annual propylene output of PKN ORLEN’s Production Plant in Płock will be increased by 100 thousand tonnes, as one of its key petrochemical projects has been approved by the Management and Supervisory Boards and is entering the execution stage. The project will increase the Płock Plant’s propylene production to 550 thousand tonnes per year.

The ORLEN Group carries out successful negotiations in the Czech Republic

Unipetrol, PKN ORLEN’s subsidiary, has reached an agreement with Czech pipeline operator Mero on new charges for pipeline transmission of crude oil. The contract has an estimated annual value of over one billion crowns and is effective as of April 1st 2016. The new tariffs ensure more favourable and flexible terms for Unipetrol.

PKN ORLEN signs an annex to a long-term crude oil supply contract with Rosneft Oil Company

The agreement, with an estimated maximum value in current market conditions of around PLN 26bn, provides for the supply of between 18 million to 25.2 million tonnes of crude oil.
