PKN ORLEN takes over RemWil from ANWIL Group

ORLEN acquired 100% of shares in Przedsiębiorstwo Inwestycyjno-Remontowe “RemWil” from the ANWIL Group.

The sale of shares in RemWil is in line with the strategy of ANWIL Group, which assumes full focus on core business and allocation of the freed-up capital to development of and increasing efficiency in the Company’s core business. It is also part of ORLEN Group structure optimisation efforts, which the Concern consistently pursues.

RemWil with its registered office in Włocławek was founded in 1997 by spinning off ANWIL’s repair and maintenance department. Since its establishment, the sole purpose of the company has been to keep production installations operational and carry out modernisation and investment projects in ANWIL. RemWil currently has a stable market position and a constantly increasing share in the Polish market. In addition to its main business, such as facilities maintenance at ANWIL and managing PKN ORLEN’s Purified Terephthalic Acid production facility in Włocławek, RemWil also repairs other chemical installations and executes investment projects in wastewater treatment facilities and water intakes. The company also provides maintenance services in areas of electrical installations, automation and mechanics at the Czech SPOLANA chemical plant in Neratovice.
