PKN ORLEN to offer retail bonds on open market

PKN ORLEN once again meets the expectations of individual investors, who will be able to place orders for PKN ORLEN’s retail bonds starting from September 6th. The first series offered under the second retail bond programme will comprise two million bonds with a nominal value of PLN 200m.

PKN ORLEN and PGNiG start joint production from Miłosław E gas field

PKN ORLEN and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo have started the production of natural gas from Miłosław E deposit. The facility is operated from a gas plant located 30 km away. This is another deposit in Greater Poland to be jointly developed by both companies.

New beginning in Lithuania

In Vilnius, ORLEN Lietuva and the Lithuanian Railways signed an agreement ending long-running disputes between the companies. Wojciech Jasiński, President of the Management Board of PKN ORLEN, Saulius Skvernelis, Prime Minister of Lithuania, and Rokas Masiulis, Lithuanian Minister of Transport, were present at the event.

ORLEN completes the Włocławek CCGT project

It took over 18,000 m3 of concrete, close to 4,000 tonnes of steel, and a total of 200 km of power cables to complete PKN ORLEN’s CCGT cogeneration project in Włocławek. Altogether, the construction site saw over 25,000 qualified workers contributing to the project at different stages. Poland’s first high-capacity CCGT unit (463 MWe) will enhance the ORLEN Group’s operational excellence, while strengthening the national energy security.

PKN ORLEN opens to a new model of urban mobility

In an effort to continuously develop and improve the offering of its service stations, PKN ORLEN has got involved in car-sharing services by becoming the strategic fuel partner for Traficar. As part of this cooperation, in the cities where the service is available, you will be able to leave or rent a car at selected PKN ORLEN service stations.

PKN ORLEN's Prospectus filed with the PFSA

PKN ORLEN has submitted a prospectus for the planned second public bond programme to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA). The programme provides for the issue, in several series spread over twelve months, of bonds for a total amount of up to PLN 1bn. The parameters of each issue will be adjusted to market expectations and PKN ORLEN’s needs on an ongoing basis.

PKN ORLEN to take part in an EU energy research project

Always active in enhancing its research and development potential, PKN ORLEN is now going to implement a project funded under the Horizon 2020 EU framework programme. The funding will enable the Company to take part in a project aimed at field testing of innovative solutions within existing high-efficiency cogeneration infrastructure.

Contract for propylene from Metathesis Unit

PKN ORLEN will supply up to 100,000 tonnes of propylene annually to Basell Orlen Polyolefins. The contract covers the production volume of the Metathesis Unit, currently constructed in Płock and scheduled for commissioning in the second half of 2018.

Polish sole front runner on Global Finance list

PKN ORLEN won a distinction for the best corporation for FX management in Central and Eastern Europe in a prestigious ranking by Global Finance magazine. The Company was the only organisation from this part of Europe ranked among companies such as Apple, General Electric, Dow Chemicals or Airbus (evaluated globally).
