PGNiG: Decision by the President of URE to change PGNiG gas fuel tariff to account for excise duty

The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (“PGNiG”, the “Company”) reports that on October 18th 2013 PGNiG was notified of a decision issued by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE) to approve the proposed changes to the PGNiG gas fuel tariff (the “Tariff”) in the part related to excise duty. The rationale behind the proposed changes are the new excise duty regulations coming into force as of November 1st 2013, which, in PGNiG's opinion, should have a neutral effect on the Company's financial performance.
The effective period of the revised Tariff runs from November 1st 2013 until December 31st 2013.
