Sławomir Staszak
Member of the Management Board, Energy and Energy Transition
A manager with extensive professional experience. Since April 2024, he has served on the Management Board of Energa S.A. As President of the Management Board, he was responsible for projects critical to advancing the energy transition, including the development of distribution networks, renewable energy sources, CCGT units, and energy storage.
He has been actively involved across the Energa Group in a variety of roles – as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Energa Operator and Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board of Energa Obrót.
He also serves as Vice President of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Association (Polski Komitet Energii Elektrycznej), where he contributes to initiatives aimed at strengthening the sector’s competitiveness, addressing the challenges of European integration, and safeguarding energy security.
He regularly takes part in discussions on issues of strategic importance to the Polish energy sector at industry events attended by government representatives and business leaders. He serves on the programme boards of conferences that set the direction of debate on the future of the sector. He also supports scientific development through active collaboration with Gdańsk University of Technology, where he is a member of the Rector’s economic advisory team.
He is actively engaged in ESG matters – environment, climate, and sustainable development – and participated in the COP29 World Climate Summit in Azerbaijan.
Throughout his career, he has worked for entities in the energy and port sectors, managed international teams, contributed to the development of comprehensive corporate strategies, and held executive and supervisory roles, including membership of the Supervisory Board of Zarząd Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A.
He is a law graduate of the University of Gdańsk.
