European Economic Congress

The European Economic Congress is the largest business event in Central Europe, held annually and bringing together participants from across the globe – recognised authorities, European Commissioners, senior policymakers from Poland and abroad, business leaders, executives of major companies shaping the Polish economy, entrepreneurs, experts, academics, and media representatives. The scale of the Congress is further highlighted by the participation of representatives from embassies and international trade agencies.

The mission of the European Economic Congress has remained consistent for years – to serve as a broad and open platform for debate on the future of the European and Polish economies. The themes and conclusions from Congress discussions continue to resonate strongly in public discourse long after the event.

The exceptional nature of the most recent edition was reflected both in its scale and in the distinguished guests whose contributions attracted global attention and set the tone for the entire event. The 2024 European Economic Congress was attended by, among others, Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, Jerzy Buzek, Member of the European Parliament (2004–2024) and Chair of the EEC Council, and Kadri Simson, EU Commissioner for Energy (2019–2024).

The event achieved record media exposure, generating the highest media value in its history – PLN 185 million – with more than 45,000 publications.
