The Royal Castle in Warsaw

The Royal Castle in Warsaw, once the residence of Polish kings and rulers, is today one of the most important museums in Europe. The Castle serves as the cultural heart of Warsaw, attracting both Polish and international visitors, and providing a venue for exceptional exhibitions.

Its permanent and temporary exhibitions are curated by distinguished experts, often in collaboration with leading European museums. The Castle also organises a wide range of cultural and educational projects for diverse audiences, including concerts, theatre performances, open-air events, festivals, and educational projects.

The Royal Castle stands as a monument to Polish independence. Destroyed during the Second World War, it was rebuilt between 1971 and 1984 through an extraordinary act of national solidarity. ORLEN was a Partner of the four-year celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the Castle’s reconstruction and continues to serve as its Partner today.
