It is the key pillar of Poland’s energy security and plays a crucial role in enabling sustainable energy transition. Its asset diversity and comprehensive approach support the effective delivery of the ORLEN Group’s strategic and business objectives.
Integration of domestic, onshore upstream assets, covering exploration, production and storage activities, within ORLEN Upstream Polska, is currently underway. The company will become an important link in the country’s energy system by producing natural gas and crude oil from domestic deposits to meet the needs of Polish industry and the power generation sector.
ORLEN Upstream Polska will also be a major employer, providing jobs for more than 4,000 highly qualified specialists , primarily located in the Podkarpackie and Lubuskie voivodeships. The company will operate under more than 200 hydrocarbon exploration and production licenses and manage 51 crude oil and natural gas fields located across Poland.
