ORLEN S.A. Operating Branch in Pakistan, headquartered in Islamabad, has been active in exploration since 1997 and in hydrocarbon production since 2013.
The Branch operates as the operator of two exploration licences—Kirthar (70% working interest) and Baran (59%)—as well as three production licences: Rehman, Rizq and Rayyan (70% working interest in each). In addition, ORLEN holds a 25% working interest in the Musakhel exploration licence.
Following the launch of production from the Rehman field in 2013, ORLEN became a pioneer and market leader in the exploration and production of unconventional tight gas resources in Pakistan. Today, gas production is carried out from three fields: Rehman, Rizq and Rayyan.
In 2025, total natural gas production reached 400 million cubic metres, equivalent to 2.15 million boe.
