Exploration and Production Operations

The Pakistan Branch has been conducting production activities since June 2013. Today, operations are carried out under three production leases—Rehman (85 km²), Rizq (62 km²) and Rayyan (60 km²)—all of which were established from the original Kirthar exploration license.

Initially, production was conducted under an extended well test using rented facilities. In 2015, following the commissioning of the first gas plant ever built by a Polish operator outside Poland, production began through the Rehman plant. As exploration and appraisal activities progressed, additional fields were tied in: Rizq in 2016, followed by Rayyan in 2024.

Through systematic development and the continuous connection of new wells to the production system, the Branch operated thirteen wells in 2025, achieving output of approximately 400 million m³ of gas (2.15 million boe). All gas produced is sold locally to the state‑owned South Sui Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), and the revenue generated fully finances both exploration and production activities conducted by the Branch.
