Code of Conduct for Suppliers
An important initiative being implemented within the Group as part of its sustainable development and responsible supply chain strategy is the incorporation of responsible business and sustainable development criteria into the standard for procurement process management.
The corporation promotes the concept of social responsibility amongst its suppliers; it seeks to work with business partners who respect human rights and operate in accordance with legal regulations, ensure safe and dignified working conditions, and not only uphold the highest ethical standards but also care for the natural environment.
The CSR criteria have been defined and compiled into a single document, namely the ‘Code of Conduct for Suppliers’. Since April 2016, it has been a mandatory criterion used in the counterparty qualification process.
