The excise tax rate pursuant to the provisions of the Excise Tax Act of 6 December 2008 (Journal of Laws, 2019, item 864 as amended). The fuel charge rate pursuant to the provisions of the act of 27 October 1994 on paid highways and the National Road Fund (Journal of Laws, 2020, item 72) and the Announcement of the Minister of Infrastructure of 25 February 2020 (Official Gazette of the Government of the Republic of Poland, 2020, item 211).
In order to purchase fuel with 0% VAT rate, the following conditions must be met:
- listing in the current register of air carriers operating for reward chiefly on international routes (published by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority or a local state administration authority).
- if the register referred to above is not published in the country of the registered office of the carrier, and the Buyer is not included in the register published by the President of the Civil Aviation Authority, then the necessary condition for applying the 0% VAT rate is presenting the original official document confirming the registration of the carrier in the country of their registered office as performing international transport operations (e.g. in the form of concession, AOC certificate or another equivalent document granting license to perform international transport operations).
Procedures for Uplifting JET A 1 Aviation Fuel (other than into aircraft fuel tanks) at ORLEN Aviation Facilities:
- WA1 – uplift into tanks compliant with sanitary and safety standards for the storage of flammable materials; available on business days from 08:00 to 11:00.
- LCJ – uplift into tanks compliant with sanitary and safety standards for the storage of flammable materials.
- BZG, SZZ – uplift into road tankers and other tanks compliant with sanitary and safety standards for the storage of flammable materials.
- POZ – uplift into road tankers and other tanks compliant with sanitary and safety standards for the storage of flammable materials; available on business days from 08:00 to 18:00.
Fuel may be received 24 hours from confirmation by ORLEN.
Note: The Supplier shall not be held liable for delays resulting from the required operational conditions of the EMCSPL2 (e DD) System. A fuel uplift notification is required 24 hours in advance. Tax exempt fuel uplift is possible only on business days, during the working hours of the respective facility and/or within the time windows indicated above.
WAW, GDN, KTW, KRK, RDO, WMI – uplift possible exclusively into aircraft fuel tanks (into plane refuelling).
Following entry into force of the CN code regulation, as of January 16th 2017 Jet A-1 fuel may be received into capacities other than aircraft tanks only upon presentation of:
- an application for a liquid fuels trading licence / international liquid fuels trading licence for trading in Jet A-1 fuel assigned CN code 2710 19 21, or
- a liquid fuels trading licence / international liquid fuels trading licence for trading in Jet A-1 fuel assigned CN code 2710 19 21, or
- a statement signed by the customer as the end customer of liquid fuels to the effect that it does not conduct any business activities involving trade in liquid fuels in Poland (click here to download the statement form).
Cash payments are not accepted at airports.
