PGNiG: Election of Vice-President of the Management Board for Trade by the Supervisory Board of PGNiG SA – supplement
As a supplement to Current Report No. 103/2013 of June 11th 2013, the Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (“PGNiG”, “the Company“) provides more detailed information on Mr Jerzy Kurella, appointed by the Company’s Supervisory Board to the PGNiG Management Board as Vice-President for Trade, with effect as of June 14th 2013, at the Supervisory Board’s meeting held on June 11th 2013.
Jerzy Kurella
Legal counsel, graduate of the Law and Administration Faculty at the University of Warsaw. In 2002–2007, he worked for PGNiG in such capacities as Managing Director for Legal Support and Managing Director for Negotiations, being responsible for the legal aspects of unbundling of the transmission system operator, debt restructuring, repurchase of eurobonds, and listing of the Company shares on the Stock Exchange. From 2007, he served as Member of the Management Board, and then as Vice-President of the Management Board of BOT GiE S.A., being responsible for the BOT Group’s strategy and integration, its management and development, including supervision of the IT Department and Central Purchasing and Logistics Department, as well as legal support of BOT. From September 2008, he held the position of President of the Management Board of Wojskowe Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego Sp. z o.o., and from 2009 to June 2012 he was employed as Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. From July 1st 2012, he served as Adviser to the President of the BGK Management Board. He has sat as a member or chairman on multiple supervisory boards of such companies as PF-K Gaskon S.A., Investgas.S.A., BOT GiE S.A., BOT Elektrownia Turów S.A, BOT Elektrownia Bełchatów S.A., KUKE S.A. and Krajowy Fundusz Kapitałowy S.A.
The newly-appointed Vice-President fro Trade has stated that as of June 14th 2013 he is not engaged in any activities competitive to PGNiG’s business. Mr Jerzy Kurella is not a partner in any competitive civil-law partnership or other types of partnership, nor is he a member of the governing bodies of any company competitive to PGNiG. He is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained under the National Court Register Act.
