PGNiG: Execution of a natural gas supply agreement between PGNiG and PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna

The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (“PGNiG”) reports that on October 3rd 2013 a natural gas supply agreement was signed between PGNiG and PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna SA (the “Agreement”).The Agreement provides for the supply of 281 million cubic metres of natural gas per annum to PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna SA's planned CCGT unit at the Gorzów CHP plant. The term of the Agreement will run for a period of 20 years from the gas supply start date, which depends on when the new unit is placed in commercial operation.The natural gas supplied by PGNiG under this project will come from domestic sources. The value of the Agreement over its entire term is estimated at approximately PLN 3bn.As of the gas supply start date, the existing supply agreement concluded between PGNiG and PGE on July 5th 1996 will expire.
