PGNiG: Cassation appeal against the Court of Appeal’s ruling on the appeal against the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office concerning a fine imposed on the Company for breaching the terms of the Licence to trade in natural gas with foreign partners

The Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (“PGNiG”, the “Company”) announces that the Company has filed a cassation appeal against the ruling of the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, 6th Civil Division, concerning a fine imposed on PGNiG SA by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office for breaching the terms of the Licence to trade in natural gas with foreign partners in 2007 and 2008, by exceeding in those years the maximum share of gas imported from a single country in total gas imports in each of the two years.
