PGNiG: Expiry of exclusive negotiation period for acquisition of TAURON Ciepło Sp. z o.o.

Further to Current Report No. 29/2020 of June 16th 2020 and Current Report No. 62/2020 of November 30th 2020, the Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (“PGNiG”) announces that given the expiry of the bid submitted by PGNiG to TAURON Polska Energia S.A. (“TAURON”) to acquire 100% of the shares in Tauron Ciepło Sp. z o.o. (the “Transaction”) and failure to reach consensus in the negotiations conducted under the exclusive negotiating rights granted PGNiG by TAURON and expiring on January 31st 2021, PGNiG has notified TAURON of its intention not to pursue further negotiations regarding the Transaction.
