Under Art. 81 par. 1, item 2 of the Law on Public Trading of Securities dated 21 August, 1997 (Official Journal of Bills No 118, item 754 with the later amendments) the Management Board of Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. informs that on September 20, 2000 PKN ORLEN S.A. and Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. signed an annexe to the agreement dated October 22, 1999 under which PKN ORLEN S.A. appointed Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. a specialist at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The annexe concerns the appointment of the Centre for Capital Operations at Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. a market-maker for PKN ORLEN S.A. at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
