Mr Ludomir Handzel has replaced Mr Rafal Mania on the Supervisory Board
Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. (PKN ORLEN), Central Europe's largest downstream oil company, announces that Mr Ludomir Handzel has replaced Mr Rafal Mania on the Supervisory Board as the representative of the Ministry of Treasury, PKN ORLEN's 10,4% direct shareholder.
Mr Ludomir Handzel, 27, is currently a senior advisor to the Ministry of Treasury. He is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the IV National Investment Fund PROGRESS. From 1997 to 2000 he was an advisor to the Vice-Chairman of the Senate (High Chamber) of Poland. He has also been a member of the Supervisory Boards of FPiN Wapienica in Bielsko-Biala, the Hydroelectric powerstation complex Porabka Zar, and the clothing company Conres S.A., in Rzeszow. Mr Handzel graduated from the University of Warsaw - International Affairs. He also received a degree in accountancy and finance from the National College of Economics. In 1998 he passed the course for the members of supervisory boards in joint stock companies.
