A resolution to adjourn the proceedings of the EGMs of PKN ORLEN

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A., Central Europe's largest downstream oil company announces today that on December 15, 2000 the Management Board of PKN ORLEN S.A. was notified that a resolution to adjourn the proceedings of the Extraordinary General Assembly of Shareholders of PKN ORLEN S.A. until 4 pm. on December 19, 2000 was passed. This motion was proposed by the National Treasury.
