Amendment of the financial calendar

PKN ORLEN S.A. (PKN ORLEN), Central Europe’s largest downstream oil company, announces today that it is moving publication of its consolidated financial statement for the first half of 2001 from 18th September 2001, as originally planned, to 12th September 2001.
