Legal insolvent proceedings for Dromech

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN Spolka Akcyjna ("PKN ORLEN"), Central Europe's largest downstream oil company, informs that on 10th September 2001 BHT Dromech SA informed PKN ORLEN that Volvo Poland Sp. z o.o. initiated legal insolvent proceeding in Sad Rejonowy m.st. Warszawy XVII Wydzial Gospodarczy Upadlosciowy ul. Swietokrzyska 12 w Warszawie (”District Court in Warsaw”) for a Warsaw based BHT Dromech SA. (“Dromech”).

On the 16th August 2001 we informed in current report number 56 that BHT Dromech submitted an application to commence an agreement proceeding. Both cases are comprised by legal proceeding in above-mentioned Court, which will undertake appropriate decision. PKN ORLEN holds 81.2 % stake in Dromech’s shares capital.

Dromech specialises in production of tankers and fuel tanks.
