Declaration of purchase of new shares in ORLEN Petrogaz Plock

PKN ORLEN S.A. declares purchase of new shares in ORLEN Petrogaz Plock Sp. z o.o.

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN Spolka Akcyjna (“PKN ORLEN”), Central Europe’s largest downstream oil company announces today that on 1st October 2001 PKN ORLEN made a declaration of a purchase of 6,020 (six thousand and twenty) shares of Plock-based ORLEN Petrogaz Plock Sp. z o.o. (“ORLEN Petrogaz Plock”) for the total value of PLN 6,020,000 (six million twenty thousand).

The transaction will be made due to a rise of the initial capital in ORLEN Petrogaz Plock. The new capital will be covered with a contribution-in-kind of gas distribution plants in Ugoszcz and Dzierzoniow. PKN ORLEN holds 100% stake in ORLEN Petrogaz Plock. There are no connections between managing and supervising bodies of PKN ORLEN and ORLEN Petrogaz Plock.
