Purchase of shares in Ship Service

Purchase of shares of Szczecin - based Ship-Service S.A.

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. ("PKN ORLEN"), Central Europe’s largest downstream oil company, announces today that it has signed an agreement to purchase 6,000 shares (six thousand) of Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Morskich Ship-Service S.A. (Ship-Service) from Brends Sp. z o.o. for the total value of PLN 6,000,000 (six million) in cash. The nominal value of one Ship-Service share is PLN 100 (one hundred).

Following this transaction PKN ORLEN will own 30.4% of Ship-Service's initial capital and 25.8% of shareholder votes. Consequently, Ship-Services will become an affiliate of PKN ORLEN. Ship-Service specialises in marine fuels sales. There is no connection between the managing and supervising bodies of PKN ORLEN and Brends Sp. z o.o.
