Fire in Rafineria Trzebinia

PKN ORLEN SA informs, that afternoon on 5 May 2002 at Rafineria Trzebinia a small volume of stored crude oil went on fire. First observation indicates that the fire was caused by a thunderstorm over the refinery. No casualties has been reported. The rescue forces are securing the area. The officials of Trzebinia Refinery as well as PKN ORLEN SA representatives and rescue forces are in place. Trzebinia Refinery belongs to capital group of PKN ORLEN, which holds 75% stake in Trzebinia Refinery.
