The registration of the initial capital increase in Przedsiebiorstwo Uslug Morskich Ship-Service S.A.

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. ("PKN ORLEN"), Central Europe's largest downstream oil company, informs of the registration by a District Court in Szczecin (Poland) of the initial capital increase in Przedsiebiorstwo Uslug Morskich Ship-Service S.A. (Ship-Service).
The capital was increased through the issuance of ordinary registered shares ('D' series).

The initial capital of Ship-Service was raised by the issuance of 19,716 shares of par value PLN 100, from PLN 1,971,600 to PLN 3,943,200.

Following this transaction PKN ORLEN will own 60.86% (previously 30.4%) of the initial capital of Ship-Service and control 55.87% (previously 25.8%) of votes at the general meeting of shareholders. Consequently, Ship-Service will become a company controlled by PKN ORLEN.

The transaction shall be formally complete after PKN ORLEN receives a certificate of ownership of 18,000 shares from Ship-Service. The purchase was executed by means of a cash contribution from PKN ORLEN.

Ship-Service specialises in marine fuel sales.
