Change in the Supervisory Board of PKN ORLEN
Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. ("PKN ORLEN"), Central Europe's largest downstream oil company, announces that on 17th April 2003 the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PKN ORLEN appointed Mr Orest Andrzej Nazaruk to the position of a member of the Supervisory Board of PKN ORLEN.
Mr Orest Andrzej Nazaruk, 30, graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Warsaw University. Between 1997-2002 he worked in the Business Consulting Department and the Audit Department at Arthur Andersen Sp. z o.o.
Currently Mr Orest Andrzej Nazaruk serves as the Deputy Director at Department of Restructuring and Public Aid at the Ministry of the Treasury. He also holds the post of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board in Mazowiecka Spółka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o. Mr Nazaruk also serves as a member of Supervisory Board in Anwil S.A. and Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. (Polish Power Exchange).
The newly elected member of the Supervisory Board is not involved in any activity competing with PKN ORLEN and is not a partner in any competing company. He is not a member of any board of a competing capital company and is not on the list of insolvent debtors kept on the record on the National Court Register Act.
