Termination of the agreement concluded between PKN ORLEN S.A. and Synthos Dwory Sp. z o.o.

Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. ("PKN ORLEN") hereby announces that on 19 February 2009 the long term agreement for ethylbenzene deliveries by PKN ORLEN to Synthos Dwory Sp. z o.o. was terminated.

The agreement has been terminated due to the price of ethylbenzene being too high for the purchaser , when calculated in accordance with the estimated costs of building the production unit.

There are no financial effects on PKN ORLEN from the termination of the agreement .
