Conclusion of agreements for building and service of power plant in Wloclawek
Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN Spolka Akcyjna ("PKN ORLEN") hereby informs that on 4 December 2012 it signed, with consortium of companies: General Electric International Inc. acting via General Electric International S.A., office in Poland (“General Electric”) and SNC-LAVALIN POLSKA sp. z o.o., the agreement for power plant building in Wloclawek (“Agreement for building”). PKN ORLEN Supervisory Board gave consent for conclusion of this agreement on 29 November 2012. The estimated net value of the Agreement for building amounts to ca. PLN 1,1 bn.
Simultaneously with signing of the Agreement for building PKN ORLEN has signed with General Electric the agreement for service of power plant in Wloclawek (“Agreement for service”). The Agreement for service will be valid for 12 years from the start-up of power plant. The estimated net value of the Agreement for service in its entire duration will amount to ca. PLN 200 m.
