Predicted accounting one-offs which impact significantly on consolidated and unconsolidated financial data presented in ORLEN Group financial statement for the 1 half 2022
PKN ORLEN S.A. („Company”) informs that it predicts that following accounting one-offs, which affected significantly consolidated and unconsolidated financial data will be included in the financial statement for the 1 half 2022:
- recognition of impairments of assets of Refining segment in PKN ORLEN with the total net value of ca. PLN (2,1) bn.
- recognition of impairments of assets of Refining segment in AB ORLEN Lietuva with the total net value of ca. PLN (0,7) bn.
Impairments of the above mentioned assets of Refining segment results mainly from change in macro environment, including especially significant increase of gas prices, limited availability of REBCO crude oil resulting from sanctions during war in Ukraine and increase of discount rates.
PKN ORLEN holds 100% of AB ORLEN Lietuva share capital.
Total impact of above-mentioned impairments on ORLEN Group consolidated result from operations for the 1 half 2022 will amount to ca. PLN (2,8) bn.
Total impact of above-mentioned impairments on PKN ORLEN unconsolidated operating result for the 1 half 2022 will amount to ca. PLN (2,1) bn.
In accordance with information provided in regulatory announcement no 31/2022 dated 18 July 2022 PKN ORLEN will publish ORLEN Group consolidated financial statements for the first half of 2022 on 5 August 2022.
