“Best Investor Relations in Poland 2007”

We are delighted to announce that PKN ORLEN has won the “Best Investor Relations in Poland 2007” award by IR Magazine. The winner was selected and announced during the IR Magazine Continental Europe Conference & Awards ceremony that took place in Paris on 11 October 2007.

While accepting the award the representatives from PKN ORLEN Investor Relations Department said: “We are grateful to all capital market representatives for recognising PKN ORLEN as having the best Investor Relations department for a public company in Poland in 2007. IR Magazine Award 2007 honours PKN ORLEN with this great distinction and simultaneously we feel obliged to continue to improve the standards of communication with capital market representatives. The confidence, which investors and analysts have placed in PKN ORLEN, is the most important prize for us.”

“Best Investor Relations in Poland” award is awarded every year by IR magazine as a result of an independent survey distributed among global capital market representatives.

IR Magazine is the prestigious monthly magazine relating to Investor Relations issues. IR Magazine Award is the latest honour for PKN ORLEN in terms of Investor Relations. The company has already been awarded “Most progress in Investor Relations” category in 2004 by IR Magazine. PKN ORLEN won “The Best Annual Report 2005” in the Accountancy and Taxes Institute and Parkiet, Stock Exchange Newspaper, and was awarded distinction in “The Most Useful Report” category. In addition, the company obtained “A” grade in December 2005 in the ranking of the Polish Forum of Corporate Governance. According to analysts surveyed by WarsawScan in 2005, PKN ORLEN was the best publicly traded company in terms of Investor Relations and, similarly in 2003, the Company was recognised for having the best Investor Relations webpage.
