Miners in Kindergartens and Schools campaign

To celebrate Miners’ Day, employees of ORLEN’s PGNiG Branch in Zielona Góra visit kindergartens and schools across north-western Poland dressed in ceremonial uniforms. During these visits, miners give presentations on the formation, exploration, and extraction of crude oil and natural gas.

They also display samples of crude oil, rock formations from which oil and gas are extracted, an oil lamp, and components of mining rescue equipment. The initiative aims to promote knowledge about the oil and gas industry and inspire children to take an interest in subjects such as geography, geology, and chemistry. Each year, around 200 volunteers take part in the campaign, reaching approximately 20,000 children in their local communities.
