Explory Programme
The Explory Programme is the largest initiative of its kind in Poland, aimed at identifying and supporting young scientific talent. Since its launch in 2012, the programme has built a community of 3,600 talented young people and facilitated the development of nearly 2,100 innovative research and scientific projects.
In 2024, the 13th Explory Competition was held, attracting more than 1,000 participants. The final, which took place in October in Gdynia, featured 33 of the best STEAM projects (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). The mission of the Explory Programme aligns with the ORLEN Group Sustainable Development Strategy for 2024–2030, which emphasises the promotion and dissemination of science as well as the equalisation of educational opportunities. By supporting the Explory project, ORLEN not only recognises the most creative and valuable ideas but also contributes to the scientific development of students across the country through the programme’s nationwide initiatives.
The project responds to an important social need and delivers tangible change. It promotes equal opportunities among children and young people, breaking down barriers and social divisions in the process of developing new skills and competencies such as creative thinking, innovation, and teamwork. The initiative provides participants with the tools to pursue their ambitions in the spirit of healthy competition and to present their achievements to a wider audience.
