Zachęta – National Gallery of Art

Zachęta is a cultural institution that has long served as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and artistic innovation. As a leader in promoting and presenting contemporary art, Zachęta offers a wide range of educational and cultural initiatives designed for diverse audiences. The Gallery, whose patron is ORLEN, is a fully accessible and inclusive space, allowing everyone – regardless of ability – to participate equally in cultural life.

Zachęta consistently develops programmes tailored to the needs of persons with disabilities, ensuring barrier-free access to art and culture. Its activities focus particularly on young audiences, offering a variety of affordable events such as Open Thursdays with free admission. The goal is to ensure that young people and students have regular access to art and can develop their interests through dedicated educational programmes, workshops, and meetings with artists.
In addition, the Gallery presents works by a new generation of artists, giving them the opportunity to establish their presence in the art world and engage with a broader audience.
