Local Content at ORLEN

Close cooperation with Polish companies is one of the directions for strengthening the concept of local content within the ORLEN Group.

Directions of our activities

We are actively engaged in developing methods for reporting the share of the „local content” in key investment projects.

We are participating in the work of the Task Force on the Local Content, established by the Ministry of State Assets. We organise meetings with representatives of various industries and chambers of commerce, who provide us with valuable insights into the current market situation and the risks facing domestic enterprises – in particular small and medium-sized companies.

PEP CIPS Certificate

In 2025, ORLEN was awarded a quality certificate by the British non-profit organisation, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

The Company has successfully met the stringent criteria set by the world’s largest procurement organisation, joining the prestigious group of companies holding the CIPS PEP Certificate.

The certification process confirmed the effectiveness and transparency of the procurement processes in place, as well as the high standards in supplier relationship management. The certificate is proof that a procurement function at ORLEN operates according to global best practices in process management and control.
