Application

Food grade salt is destined for consumption and food industry.

Manufacturing process

Wet salt is dried and then passed through a vibrating screen. Next it is transported to a iodising station where the potassium iodate is added. Finally, it is packaged.

Packaging

  • 50 kg open-end paper bags, placed on Euro pallets in 7 layers of 3 bags each (1050 kg),
  • 50 kg open-end plastic bags, placed on Euro pallets in 7 layers of 3 bags each (1050 kg),
  • 1 kg plastic bags in w 25 kg collective plastic bags, placed on Euro pallets in 8 layers of 5 bags each (1000 kg),
  • 1 kg plastic bags in 15 kg collective plastic bags, placed on Euro pallets in 8 layers of 8 bags (960 kg),
  • 300 g salt shakers in a 9.6 kg half-box,
  • pallet sides are protected with stretch film, top with a PE hood,
  • a polyethylene or paper spacer is used between the bottom layer and the pallet
