At PKN ORLEN, employee remuneration depends on the employee’s position and scope of responsibilities, and is based on pay grade categories. Overall, the remuneration package includes base pay, bonuses, benefits and allowances, which are set for individual positions in our in-house regulations. Employees may also receive an additional annual bonus depending on the company’s net profit. Additionally, we offer more than 30 non-financial benefits in the following dedicated packages: Health& Sport, Family, Your Future, and Comfort.

Each of our attractive benefit packages represents a range of options from which employees can choose what best suits their needs. Our policy in this respect is aligned with the needs and expectations of our personnel and with best market practices. In addition to standard benefits, such as medical care, we provide preventive healthcare programmes, shopping gift cards and discounts at ORLEN service stations. We also co-finance various forms of recreation for our employees and their families, as well as insurance and pension and savings programmes. We celebrate our staff’s professional achievements and work anniversaries.
At ORLEN, we are committed to maintaining a work-life balance and encourage our employees to keep fit and take care of their health. As part of health prevention activities, we promote active lifestyles, support our employees’ initiatives to improve their health, and offer a wide choice of preventive healthcare programmes. We also provide additional medical care services.

As part of the Health & Sport package, we also co-finance sports, recreation, leisure and cultural activities.

We seek to inspire the competitive spirits of sports during our annual ORLEN Olympics, which bring together amateur athletes to improve their shape and take up sports challenges in numerous disciplines, including volleyball, cycling, table tennis, running, sailing, football, basketball, and swimming. The event is combined with the Chemists’ Day, which we celebrate together with the entire community of Płock.
Staff with children can count on us for a wide range of benefits and perquisites that go beyond those required under the Labour Code and provided as standard market practice. We support our employees with a rich package of benefits to make it easier for them to reconcile work and family life. We offer co-financing of holidays for children and teenagers, childcare, school starter kits, and rehabilitation camps for disabled children and their carers. We provide financial support to families, distribute Christmas gifts for children, and offer non-returnable hardship benefits.

Every newborn baby of our employees receives a gift as part of the Family-Friendly Employer programme. Parents can also use our nursery school in Płock. We organise special events, such as the Open Day, for our employees’ children. We also participate in the nationwide campaign ‘Two Hours for the Family’.
When structuring our employee benefit plans, we rely on our corporate values. Therefore, we offer options that guarantee certain ‘deferred’ benefits. The Future package includes solutions designed for those who want to invest in more secure future, such as training and development programmes, group life insurance schemes, Employee Pension Scheme, Employee Savings Plan,  or the ‘Senior’ programme.
ORLEN employees can also choose from a range of additional benefits that improve their sense of security, stability and broadly understood comfort of work and everyday life. The Comfort package includes discounts on ORLEN products, pre-paid cards to use at ORLEN service stations, relocation package (co-financing of flat rental/company hotel costs), loans on attractive terms, and meals for production staff.
