New Chemistry’s state-of-the-art facilities are being built on the border between Płock and the Stara Biała Municipality. They are located near the largest refinery and petrochemical plant in Central and Eastern Europe, which has been in operation since 1964 and has systematically been upgraded. For this reason, it has been important for many years to maintain good neighbourly relations with local communities.
Our activities and relations with the environment in the implementation of the investment project are defined by the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP). It is a document that sets forth the commitments we have made to the community that will be affected by the New Chemistry investment project. Under the project, we define how to communicate with stakeholders, the tools for providing information, as well as the mechanism for filing comments and lodging complaints. To build trust and pave the way for good co-operation, we want an open approach to dialogue with the community.
